On the afternoon of the 24th, the official Japanese account of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics Twitter was temporarily displayed as "does not exist" and disappeared.

It recovered immediately, but according to the Games Organizing Committee, when the organization's inauguration date was registered as a birthday, it was judged to be a 7-year-old user and usage restrictions were imposed.

The official Japanese account "@ Tokyo2020jp" on Twitter for the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics displayed the message "This account does not exist" after 2:00 pm on the 24th.

During this time, all the photos and past posts disappeared, but they were restored before 4 pm.

After acknowledging that the account had disappeared temporarily, the Games Organizing Committee registered the inauguration date of the organization seven years ago as a birthday on the morning of the 24th, and Twitter was under 13 years old. Since the use is prohibited, it is judged that the user is 7 years old and the use is restricted.

Foreign language accounts such as the official English account "@ Tokyo2020" did not disappear because I did not register my birthday.

The Organizing Committee commented, "We apologize for the inconvenience and concern to our followers."
