The Egyptian Federation responds to Al-Ahly and Zamalek in an official statement

The Egyptian Football Association responded to the campaigns launched by Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs through the media against Egyptian arbitration after the mistakes committed during the Egyptian Football League, and said in an official statement Sunday: “Egyptian arbitration is the oldest and best in Africa and we will not allow its image to continue to be distorted.”

The Egyptian Federation said in its statement: "The Egyptian Football Association affirms its appreciation for criticism in general, which made its members willingly bear the daily waves they are exposed to, which sometimes amounted to an unjustified attack, since the tripartite committee in charge of managing the federation assumed its responsibilities. She is silent about it, but at the same time the committee cannot allow the continuation of what the Egyptian arbitration is subjected to for this amount of deliberate distortion after each match, and this amount of fabrication of news and incorrect allegations that affect the Egyptian referees.

He added, "The Egyptian Federation is interested in this regard to affirm its confidence in Egyptian arbitration, which is the oldest and best in the African continent, and has a repertoire of competent rulers, both international and non-international."

He continued: "The Egyptian Federation calls on all workers in the football field to be objective when they deal with the affairs of arbitration away from what the sports competitions are dragging them into, and to remain one of the main elements of support for this important element in the football process, and that everyone also takes into account that arbitration errors around the world will remain Part of the football game, no matter how large the area is to use modern technologies. "

He continued: "The Egyptian Football Association appeals to the sports media in particular to continue to support the Egyptian referees, as we are used to, and to adhere to their credibility that distinguishes them, and to ensure the validity of the news that covers them after each match."

The Egyptian Football Association’s statement comes after Al-Ahly Club issued a statement calling for justice in Egyptian football after the team’s goalkeeper, Mohamed El Shennawy, was suspended for four matches, before the penalty was reduced to one match.
