Syrian Omar Al-Somah will be absent from the stadium days after renewing his contract

The Saudi Al-Ahly club announced the absence of the Syrian striker Omar Al-Somah from participating with the team for two weeks, due to his injury to the left connective muscle, which he suffered during the Abha match, which the team won 3-0 in the 14th round competitions and witnessed the brilliance of Al Somah (31 years) by scoring two goals.

Al-Somah's injury and his absence from the stadiums come days after his contract with his club was renewed and his new salary of 833,000 Saudi riyals per month was announced.

Al-Ahly club said in a statement on its official account on the "Twitter" website: "Medical and x-ray examinations made by Captain Omar Al-Somah confirmed that he had a tear in the left connective muscle, and that he needed treatment for a period of two weeks, before returning to participate in the first team group training."

Omar Al-Somah will be absent from facing the agreement today, Sunday, in Dammam in the 15th round of the Saudi Professional League.
