Chelsea has qualified for the eighth finals of the FA Cup on Sunday.

The troubled team of coach Frank Lampard won 3-1 against Luton Town thanks to a hat-trick by striker Tammy Abraham.

Chelsea has dropped to ninth place in the Premier League since mid-December due to a bad run.

Only three of the last ten games in all competitions have been won, including in the third round of the FA Cup against fourth divisionist Morecambe (4-0).

Chelsea had an excellent start against Luton and were already 2-0 ahead after more than fifteen minutes.

Abraham opened the score with a hard diagonal shot and doubled the margin moments later with a header from a corner kick by Reece James.

Jordan Clark made the connection goal for Luton after half an hour, which plays in the Championship.

That kept it exciting for a long time, until Abraham completed his hat-trick fifteen minutes before the end and threw the game in the slot.

Hakim Ziyech was replaced fifteen minutes before time at Chelsea and ten minutes later saw how Timo Werner missed a penalty and failed to make the victory even bigger.

However, Chelsea's victory was no longer in danger.

Later in the day, the last four matches in the fourth round are still on the program, including the cracker between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.
