Chebotko, medalist of the World Cup in cross-country skiing, died in an accident at the age of 38

According to Olympic.kz, the accident occurred on the night of January 24 near the village of Borovoy in the Akmola region of Kazakhstan.

The NOC of the country expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of Chebotko.

"We will all remember him as a talented skier, a real Olympian, a wonderful person!"
