In terms of sport, Alexander Zverev (23) had a fabulous 2020: final at the US Open, semifinals at the Australian Open and two tournament victories in Cologne.

In private, however, things went haywire.

On the one hand the joy of the first child, on the other hand a corona party, the trial against the ex-manager and allegations of violence by an ex-girlfriend.

Here he is now taking a stand.

Question:

Another ex-girlfriend, Olga Sharipova, made serious allegations of violence against you.

How did you find out about it?

Zverev:

I was the happiest person in the world after the two tournament victories in Cologne.

I played golf with Mischa in Hamburg in my old children's room on the Nintendo Wii, as we did as children.

Suddenly there are messages on my cell phone.

I sat down on the floor and said to Misha: "Take a look at that!" I couldn't believe it.

Question:

You have always denied the allegations.

Isn't there really anything to it?
