On the 23rd of the Snowboard World Cup, the half-pipe final was held in Switzerland, and Yuto Totsuka won the men's championship.

The snowboard halfpipe won the opening round of the season with Pyeongchang Olympics representative, 19-year-old Totsuka, scoring 95.25.

Totsuka is the fifth World Cup winner in total.



Ruka Hirano finished third at 88.25, and two Japanese players went up to the podium in the opening round.

Raibu Katayama was in 10th place.



Women also played an active part in the Japanese team, with Mitsuki Ono in second place with 76.50, Sena Tomita in third place with 75.75, and Haruna Matsumoto in fourth place.



American Chloe Kim won 89.75.
