It was an even match where Colorado took the lead after just under three minutes in powerplay after Anaheim's Swedish defender Hampus Lindholm went out for hooking.

Lindholm, however, had to take revenge in the first minute of the second period when he sent in the equalizer to 1-1.

At the tie, 2-2, in the middle of the last period, Colorado got a golden chance to take the lead when they got a penalty.

But Anaheim's John Gibson saved Nathan MacKinnon's shot.

Great save

Instead, it was Gabriel Landeskog who secured the victory.

Cale Makar was extremely close at first but John Gibson made an incredible save and steered the puck away at the last second.

Instead, Landeskog was able to get the puck to go around the goal and put in 3-2 via the kitchen road.

- Gibson made a fantastic save.

But I managed to see that he was a little outside and I could put it in, Landeskog says to AltitudeTV.

The goal was the third of the season for Landeskog who also assisted in Colorado's 2-1 goal last night.
