“We are working to prepare for all possible scenarios that may await us in July-August.

We have a large set of tools in order to decide at the right time which of them we need in a particular situation, ”the IOC website quotes Bach as saying.

He noted that all the issues discussed at the Olympic Games 2020 relate to immigration rules, quarantine restrictions, social distancing norms in the Olympic Village, rapid testing for COVID-19, vaccinations, as well as admission of fans to stadiums.

The Olympics in Tokyo, postponed due to coronavirus infection from 2020 to 2021, should be held from July 23 to August 8.

Before that, there were rumors in the press about the possible cancellation of the Games.

Earlier it was reported that Japan is considering the option of holding the Olympic Games without spectators.
