After a short examination, the player was put on a stretcher and sent to the hospital.

He soon came to his senses and underwent the necessary examinations, which did not reveal any fractures in him.

At the moment, his condition is assessed as satisfactory.

"The hockey player was diagnosed with a concussion without a brain injury, he is in a satisfactory condition, on Monday a control MRI will be done," a representative of the Omsk Ministry of Health quotes TASS.

After the incident, Davydov was sent off until the end of the match, and then the sports and disciplinary committee found him guilty and decided on a four-match suspension and a monetary fine.

The league also condemned the hockey player's actions for not advising "the rules of the game and the principles of fair play."

Davydov himself did not deny his guilt and apologized to the victim.

“Today, in the match with Kuznetsk Bears, I had a conflict with Demid Panichkin.

I had to stand up for the goalkeeper.

In no case did I want to inflict any injury on the player, cause any damage.
