The matches in professional football will also continue to be played in the evening during the period that the curfew applies.
The KNVB will not shift the starting times, something that happens in other Dutch top sport competitions.
The government has given the sports associations the freedom to determine for themselves whether it is necessary to have matches played during curfews.
According to the KNVB, the matches in professional football have a positive impact on society.
Research shows that more than ten million Dutch people follow the duels in the Eredivisie, Kitchen Champion Division and the Women's Eredivisie, live or in summary.
"It thus amuses many people who (have to) sit at home in the evening. Who do you a favor with afternoon matches?"
"It also inspires youth to keep moving and exercising within the corona limitations, which has a positive impact on public health, in the short and long term."
The curfew in the Netherlands starts on Saturday and from then on people are not allowed to be on the street between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m.
The measure applies in any case until February 10 at 4.30 am, but can be extended.
