At the 2020 league semifinal work summary and commendation meeting recently held by the Chinese Football Association, Du Zhaocai, deputy director of the State Sports General Administration and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Football Association, put forward six major points for the next step.
These six points are:
Actively prepare for the men's football World Cup qualifiers and the women's national team Olympic play-offs;
Learn from the experience of last season’s league organization and plan ahead for this year’s leagues;
To implement the preparations for the 2023 Asian Cup in an orderly manner, to achieve the general requirements of "successful and wonderful, safe and orderly" and "exciting competitions and brilliant competition"
Continue to steadily advance the establishment of professional club federations;
Based on the long-term, long-term contribution, do a good job in football youth training;
Make a good plan for football work during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period and continue to deepen football reform.
Du Zhaocai said that scientifically grasping the overall situation and actively responding to changes are the keys to doing all tasks well.
