The UAE Football Association approves the cancellation of competitions for the under-18 years of age

The Board of Directors of the Emirates Football Association decided to reduce the licensing, issuance and renewal of the country's football academies to 1,000 dirhams, based on its keenness to increase the number of football practitioners in the country and encourage those in charge of the academies to take care of the youth and polish their talents through training programs and joint tournaments, the Football Association stipulated That the license is linked to the registration of all players in all private academies in the official records of the Federation, and workshops will be held for academy officials to listen to their opinions and suggestions.

This came during the thirteenth meeting of the Board of Directors, which was held today at the Union’s headquarters in Dubai, headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Federation, and in the presence of the members.

The meeting discussed the items on the agenda, which included topics, reports and recommendations of the various committees, where the recommendation of the Competitions Committee was approved regarding canceling the competitions for the age groups under 18 and under for the 2020-2021 sports season and cooperating with the sports councils in the country to organize special tournaments in each emirate under the supervision of the Federation The ball and addressing the rest of the clubs in the event they wish to participate in these tournaments, provided that the registration process for players continues according to the dates and procedures specified in the annual circular of the conditions and transfers of players and granting clubs the freedom to continue performing training for these groups in accordance with the approved precautionary measures, while 43 new referees who had passed a session were approved. Freshmen held last December.

The Council approved the joining of Dr. Ahmed Suleiman and Chancellor Ammar Al-Ali to the membership of the Regulations Revision Committee, and the approval of Chancellor Aisha Al-Tunaiji for his membership in the committee, while the results of the coordination meetings held between the Football Association and the Emirates Center for Sports Arbitration during the last period were reviewed.
