Saudi Professional League Ranking ... after Al-Hilal's victory over Al-Taawon 2-0

Riyadh - D.P.A.

Al Hilal suspended its series of draws, which continued in its last four matches in the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Football League Championship (Saudi Professional League), after its precious 2-0 victory over its guest Al-Taawon today, Wednesday, in the fourteenth stage of the competition.

The balance of Al-Hilal (the title holder) rose to 29 points, to lead the championship, three points ahead of the closest Al-Shabab and Al-Ahly chasers, and reconciled to its fans, who felt frustrated after tying in their last four matches in the competition with Al-Ittihad, Al-Baten, Al-Shabab and Al-Ahly.

On the other hand, the balance of Al-Taawon, who suffered its third loss in the championship this season, in exchange for five wins and six draws, stopped at 21 points in fifth place.

French star Pavitimbi Gomis opened the scoring for Hilal early in the second minute, with a wonderful goal from a double backhand, following a cross pass from the right side, placing the ball to the left of Al Taawon goalkeeper.

Argentine Luciano Vito added the second goal for the Blue team in the 50th minute, after following a corner kick from the right, which he shot directly from inside the area on the right post, to set the ball in front of him again and hit a double backhand, to the left of the goalkeeper.
