Leksand was the best team right from the start.

SDE had to focus on defensive play for most of the first period, but did well.

Leksand controlled the game but, apart from a shot on the outside of the post, was not really close to a lead goal.

The period therefore remained speechless.

- We do a lot ourselves.

We do not work in pairs.

We do not get into such dangerous situations.

Stands a lot on the outside, said Leksand's Kajsa Armborg during the period break.

Cold shower for Leksand

The team, however, got a great position to take the lead in the second period when they received a penalty after just over six minutes, but the shot from Ella Albinsson went far outside.

Leksand continued to press their opponents as they flew to the counterattack.

Therefore, it may not come as a surprise when SDE made it 1-0 after 13.54 through Kelly Murray.

- We have the upper hand.

We just have to put the pucks.

We do a better second period than the first, says SDE's Magdalena Winbo after the second period.

Two quick goals

However, it did not take long into the third period before Leksand finally received a dividend on its game advantage.

Two and a half minutes in, the Dala team equalizes when the puck bounces in after a return by SDE's goalkeeper Linn Jansson Almgren.

But it would not end there.

Just 29 seconds after the equalizer, Shea Demale finds a gap above the shoulder of Linn Jansson Almgren and 2-1 is a fact.

A cold shower for SDE this time.

SDE tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defense got the best of this rather direct style of play.

Leksand got to cheer and the hunt for a playoff spot is still alive.
