OL have decided to be very active in this winter transfer window.

Unusual second in the championship at mid-term, one point behind PSG, the Lyon club intends to clinch a 15th consecutive coronation in D1.

Jean-Michel Aulas seems determined to give himself the means this winter with already two recruits.

After the spectacular signing of the attacking midfielder Catarina Macario (21), the American neo-international, OL formalized the arrival of Damaris Egurrola on Wednesday.

The defensive midfielder, who has a cape with the Spanish selection, is committed until June 2024. She has the particularity of having played only six games of the English championship with her club Everton, which she had joined last summer.

Also aged 21, the native of Orlando (United States) was trained in Spain, at Athletic Bilbao.

She started at the age of 16 with the Basque club's first team, becoming Spanish champion in 2016.

After having played 113 matches (5 goals) in five seasons with Bilbao, Damaris Egurrola has therefore joined England for only six months.

Winner of Euro U19 in 2017, with a goal scored in the final against the Blue (3-2), then finalist of the U20 World Cup the following year, the promising Spanish symbolizes the recruitment of a future OL in full renewal.
