The 27-year-old Lindskog tested positive two weeks ago and has since remained in the parental home in Kristianstad.
His test six days ago still showed that he was carrying a corona infection and the quarantine stay was extended.
Federation captain Glenn Solberg has previously said that the 198 centimeter long Lindskog is an important piece of the puzzle, especially in the central defense.
Sweden has advanced to the main round of the World Cup and will face Belarus on Wednesday.
