According to the Japan Sumo Association's public relations manager Shibatayama, 10 wrestlers from the Kokonoe stable were tested for the new coronavirus on the 18th, and the former Ozeki and Chiyotaikai wrestlers and the four wrestlers under the Makushita combined. It means that 5 people were newly judged as positive.



The four wrestlers under the Makushita will be hospitalized on the 19th.



In the Kokonoe stable, on the 9th of this month, the day before the first place, it was known that four wrestlers, including the 13th frontal Chiyoshoma and the 5th Juryo Chiyotori, were infected, and this was judged to be positive in the Kokonoe stable. There are now 9 people.



The Sumo Association has already closed all members of the association, including the Kokonoe stable wrestlers and their masters, from the first day of the first place, saying that there is a possibility of close contact with the wrestlers who were first found to be infected.
