Al-Ahly goalkeeper Al-Shenawi suspended for 4 matches ... and a fine of less than (500 dirhams).

The Egyptian Football Association announced that Al-Ahly goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shennawi has been suspended and fined for four matches, against the backdrop of what the federation described as unsportsmanlike behavior in his team's match against Al-Ahly Bank, which ended in a negative draw yesterday, Sunday, in the eighth stage of the League Championship.

The Egyptian Football Association stated on its official page on the "Twitter" website that the competitions administration decided to stop El-Shenawi and fine him an amount of 20,000 pounds (less than 500 dirhams).

Al-Ittihad explained that Al-Shenawi's behavior towards the referee was not athletic, and therefore it was decided to punish Al-Shenawi.

Al-Ahly leads the Egyptian league standings with 17 points, one point behind Zamalek, who face El Gouna on Tuesday.
