Telstar booked a big victory on TOP Oss in the Kitchen Champion Division on Saturday.
Partly thanks to a hat-trick by Glynor Plet, the North Hollanders won 1-4.
The 33-year-old Plet took care of the 0-2 after half an hour and was also responsible for the 0-3 and 0-4 after the break.
His second goal, in which Plet surprised TOP goalkeeper Bo Geens with a lob from outside the box, was particularly nice.
Shayne Pattynama had already put Telstar ahead after three minutes from a corner kick by Frank Korpershoek.
Mart Remans determined the final score a minute before the end on a pass from Dennis van der Heijden at 1-4.
Telstar is in eighth place with 31 points from twenty games and is therefore fully involved in the battle for a ticket for the play-offs for promotion to the Eredivisie.
TOP Oss remains in twelfth place with 25 points.
The match between NEC and SC Cambuur (kick-off at 12.15 pm) is scheduled for Sunday in the Kitchen Champion Division.
On Monday, Jong FC Utrecht-Jong Ajax (6.45 p.m.) and Jong PSV-NAC Breda (9 p.m.) will be played.
