It is understood that the main stadium of Xi’an Olympic Sports Center officially started construction on October 9, 2017, and was officially completed and accepted on June 23, 2020. The 60,000 main stadiums have a construction area of 152,000 square meters and 5 floors above the ground. The 400m comprehensive track and field stadium has 9 circular running tracks, 10 west straights, and a 105mx68m international standard football field.
The 400m standard runway uses the international top rubber runway, the football field uses professional-grade natural turf, and the center plastic runway uses the prefabricated coiled rubber runway of Mondo Italy, the supplier of the Olympic rubber runway.
Jia Yueqing, director of civil engineering of Xi'an Olympic Sports Center Holdings Co., Ltd., said that in order to obtain the World Athletics Federation's first-level venue certification, a lot of efforts have been made to strictly control quality and craftsmanship.
Among them, the flatness of the site should be controlled within an arbitrary 3 meters range of height difference less than 2 mm, which puts forward very strict requirements on the craft and quality, and finally reached the standard through hard work.

The 14th National Games will be held in Shaanxi from September 15 to 27, 2021.
