Ryuta Hirauchi, who joined the team in 1st place in the draft, said, "I want to build a solid body for the camp and do my best to join the opening 1st army" after the joint voluntary training of new professional baseball and giant players has started.

The joint voluntary training for new giant players began on the 14th at the Giants Stadium in Kawasaki City, and all 19 people participated, including pitchers Hirauchi, who joined the team in the first draft from Asia University.

While the leaders such as Tatsunori Hara visited the tour, all the players warmed up and played catch, then moved to the indoor practice area and were knocked.

In order for the giants to get used to the new environment, the period from entering the dormitory on the 7th of this month to the 13th was set as a period of voluntary training, and new players were prepared for joint training.

After the practice, pitcher Hirauchi said, "I was a little nervous, but I think I was able to move. It was fun to practice with everyone."

After that, he said, "I want to be able to enter the camp in a good condition with a solid body. I want to do my best to join the opening 1st army and aim to become a rookie king."

In addition, Director Hara said, "I am relieved that he is doing well and his expectations are rising."

The joint voluntary training for the new giants will be held until the 29th of this month, preparing for the spring camp starting on the 1st of next month.
