On the other hand, the current season witnessed the absence of "Dubai Knights" from the victories in the last five matches the team fought in the league, with its draw with Sharjah and Al Dhafra and its loss against Fujairah, and finally a tie against Bani Yas and Al Wasl, as Shabab Al Ahly is the most equal team in the league this season. On the other hand, “Al-Muhandis” previously coached Al-Ahly youth on two occasions in 2009 and 2017, and the Baniyas team in 2011, and the irony is that his two previous experiences with Al-Ahly youth were temporary, as he led the team in 2009 in 12 matches from November to February 2010, He won his first term in six matches, one draw, and lost five times.
As for the second term, he came in December 2017 to succeed the Romanian coach Cosmin, and he led the team until the end of the season in May 2018, and played 19 matches with the team, winning eight matches, losing six games, and tied in five matches.
It is noteworthy that Shabab Al-Ahly ranks eighth on the league standings list this season with 16 points, 13 points behind leaders Sharjah after the 12th round.
