The supervisor of the first team of Dibba Al-Hisn, Mohamed Sorour, expressed his confidence in the team's return to resume the tone of the victories in the next matches of the First Division, stressing that his team was affected in the past two games by the absence of the Algerian professional Seydou Awaj, who is one of the most important elements of the team, in addition to the modest performance The second foreign professional.

"The club is about to terminate the contract of the Nigerian player Ibrahim Mustafa, and seek the help of another foreigner, and is looking to replace the resident players with others who are able to keep up with the team's aspirations by snatching one of the two qualifying cards for the Arab Gulf League," Mohammed Sorour told Emirates Today.

He stressed that the club's board of directors, headed by Ibrahim Baghdad Al Darmaki, is keen to strengthen the team with the elements of success required, to be able to restore the results of victory and achieve the ambition of the masses.

The eighth round matches resulted in Al-Orouba winning over Masafi (1-0), the UAE defeated Dibba Al-Hisn with the same result, and Dibba Al-Fujairah over Al-Dhaid with a free-of-charge goal, Masfout over Al Arabi (3-1), and Al-Hamriya tied with Al-Taawon with a goal to the same.

Al-Bataih maintained its top position with 18 points, followed by the Emirates and Dibba Fujairah (14 points) in the second and third places, where the "Falcons" outperformed the goal difference, followed by Masafi fourth (12 points), then Dibba Al-Hisn and Al-Orouba (11 points), fifth and sixth, respectively. Al Hamriyah seventh (10 points), then Al Taawon (eight points), Masfoot and Al Arabi, each with (six points), and finally Al Dhaid (one point).

"The team presented a strong technical and all-round match against the Emirates, although it lost with a clean goal, a loss that was not deserved compared to the performance of the team that fought the confrontation without the foreign players," Sorour said.

He added: "The suspension of the Algerian player Seydou Awaj, due to his obtaining a red card, caused the team to lose a large part of its effectiveness, and we look forward with the player's return in the upcoming matches, and strengthening the ranks with a number of citizens and residents, for the return of distinguished performance."
