Aged 23, Pol Lirola plays on the right side of the defense, but can also evolve a notch higher, as a winger.
He is OM's first recruit during this winter transfer window.
Monday at a press conference, André Villas Boas announced that the club was "on several files" in attack.
On the start side, Kevin Strootman should join Genoa, again on loan, enough to save half of the 500,000 euros per month that the Dutchman has received since his arrival at OM.
