The player of Shabab Al-Ahly Futsal Team, Abdullah Al Falasi, said that he is proud that the "Nad Al Sheba Ramadan Tournament" introduced him to the futsal stadiums, and contributed greatly to his brilliance in sports, his transfer to Al-Ahly Youth, and then his transformation into one of the pillars of the national team.

He said that he had benefited from the advice given to him by the former Brazilian star Bebeto, during his previous visit to Dubai.

Al-Falasi said that he owes a lot to Al-Ahly youth, because it gave him the opportunity to present himself greatly and showcase his skills, and stressed that he is happy to be one of the stars of the team now, and wants to continue winning titles with him, and he also hopes to contribute to leading the team to the Futsal Cup finals in Asia , And the World Cup during the coming period.

How did you become a futsal player at a young age?

I am one of the players that emerged from the Nad Al Sheba Ramadan Futsal tournament, through playing in the “Fahud Zabeel” team, which contributed to my joining the Shabab Al-Ahly club, and then within a very short period of time in the team.

I think it is a precedent for a player from the Ramadan tournament teams to be included in a club the size of Al-Ahly's youth, then to the national team, and I was 21 years old .. This is a responsibility that I cherish, and I hope to be up to my level.

Why did you train in Al-Nasr, then wear the Shabab Al-Ahly shirt?

There is no explanation other than that Al-Tawfiq led me to the “Dubai Knights” castle, noting that my father Rashid Al Falasi had been a player at Al-Nasr Club for many years. Despite this, I chose Al-Ahly's youth, and the reason is that it proved my legacy and gave me a great opportunity.

I do not forget the merit of the club's family to me, including coach Abdullah Abdel Basset, who contributed to the development of my technical level, and the player Badr Ibrahim, who brought me to this artistic position, as everyone in the club encouraged me.

Is the national team able to reach the continental and world finals?

Futsal has developed tremendously over the past years, and has become very popular for more than one reason.

This confirms that the Executive Committee organizes several tournaments, as well as the presence of distinguished foreign players and coaches.

Club administrations have sensed the value of these tournaments.

And current indications indicate that futsal is on the way to a distinctive future.

In my turn, I look forward to leading the UAE national team to the Asian and World Finals, especially since it will be the first time if we are able to do so.

What are your most prominent achievements with Al-Ahly youth?

Shabab Al-Ahly is a big team, and everyone is proud to represent it, and I am glad that in 2019 I won all the titles with it, and was represented by winning the President's Cup, the Emirates Cup and the Super Cup, in addition to the General League championship.

And every season, my goal is to give him credit.

Regarding the current season, I am looking forward to winning the league championship after winning the Emirates Cup, and I am honored that in my first season with Shabab Al-Ahly I won the league's top scorer title in the first round, before I stopped for a short period, to join a course at work.

What is the center that you are good at more than others?

I am a playmaker more than a scorer, but I am good at both, and I do not care to be the best in either of them, because futsal is a team sport that depends on understanding between all the players, but I feel comfortable when I do better with the team, and through understanding with the Al-Ahly youth leader, Abdullah Al-Khumri, and in the national team with the captain of Al-Nasr Club, Muhammad Ubaid.

In general, I hope to achieve more achievements and titles with the Al-Ahly youth team in the coming period, and at the national team level as well.
