As recently as last week, the elite football's interest organization, Sef, went out and advised the Swedish elite football clubs not to travel abroad to training and match camps.

Something several clubs usually do during the winter.

But despite the dissuasion, Östersund now chooses to travel to training camp to Spanish Malaga between 16 January and 6 February.

- Based on the prevailing situation with infection in the whole community, it can even be good to live and train in a bubble in Malaga and only be with each other in this way, says coach Amir Azrafshan on the club's website.

Östersund writes that they have talked to the infection control in Region Jämtland / Härjedalen about the plans and that they believe that the club has the tools to carry out the trip and stay on site in as infectious a way as possible.
