Sweden's World Cup preparations got a couple of real bangs last week.

On Tuesday, the news came that midfielder Anton Lindskog tested positive for covid-19, after which the entire squad was quarantined and the European Championship qualifiers against Montenegro were canceled.

No joint team training could therefore be carried out and on Thursday came the next smock for Blågult when even important right-winger Albin Lagergren, who had injury problems and therefore later joined the squad, received a positive test result on a quick test on arrival in Eskilstuna.

On Monday morning, the Swedes received a long-awaited green light to train together again, after all remaining players tested negative again.

After a morning training, Sweden travels later today to Malmö and tomorrow the chartered flight to Cairo takes off from Kastrup.
