Colorado Avalanche striker Nathan McKinnon took second place.

The top three was closed by another Edmonton forward - Leon Dreiseitl.

The best of the Russians was New York Rangers forward Artemy Panarin.

The top 10 also includes Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov and Washington Capitals forward Alexander Ovechkin, who finished seventh and eighth, respectively.

The rating also includes Tampa goalkeeper Andrey Vasilevsky - 17th place, and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Yevgeny Malkin - 18th place. 

Earlier it was reported that Vasilevsky became the best NHL goalkeeper according to polls of coaches and general managers.
