A recommendation made because of the health crisis linked to the coronavirus.

The French government on Monday asked the Top 14 clubs "to postpone their participation in European Cup matches, at least until early February," according to a letter addressed to the National Rugby League (LNR) that AFP consulted.

The current circulation of the coronavirus prompts the authorities to be cautious.

A meeting regarding the 2021 Six Nations Tournament, supposed to start on February 6, will take place on Tuesday morning at the Ministry of Sports, on the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic.
