Ebba Andersson has landed in Östersund and is back on Swedish soil after the success in the Tour de Ski.

Just over a day ago, she mastered the "monster hill" and emerged victorious from the last stage.

Which gave her a third place overall.

- It was a little emptiness that appeared when you crossed the finish line yesterday.

This is something I have been working and charging for for so many days and all of a sudden it is over.

- I succeeded with something I had not done before.

Last year I had to throw in the towel just at this stage.

It also means a lot when I had a bit of a struggle in the beginning, says Ebba Andersson to SVT Sport.

"Incredible numbers"

Sunday's classic climb in Alpe Cermis was watched by 1.7 million on SVT.

A figure that pleases Ebba Andersson.

- These are incredible numbers.

It's hard to imagine that so many have sat down in front of the TV and really show their commitment.

That means a lot, really.

That it is something that touches others warms the heart of a cross-country skier, she says.

Received a lot of support

She has noticed that the Swedish supporters have been there even though they have not been there.

- A lot of congratulations and greetings have fallen in.

Even earlier in the tour when it did not go as I wanted.

I really appreciate having the support in both ups and downs, says Andersson.
