Biker Pierre Cherpin hospitalized after a big accident on the Dakar

A biker on the Dakar -

French amateur biker Pierre Charpin was hospitalized on Sunday during the 7th stage of the Dakar.

Victim of a big fall, he suffered a major head trauma, according to information from France TV, and was immediately transferred to a hospital in southern Saudi Arabia, in Sakaka. 

Also according to the news from France Télévisions, Charpin was taken care of by a neurosurgeon to reduce a subdural hematoma and was plunged into a coma.

He is also said to be suffering from pneumothorax and a broken rib.
