Huge, Alexis Pinturault!

The Frenchman dominated the giant Adelboden from start to finish to win the 32nd race of his career and take his ease in the general classification of the World Cup.

An excellent result which erases its disappointing 18th place a few days earlier in Zagreb.

the Courchevel skier stunned the first round by giving his pursuers nearly a second, before winning the second by a short header.

Already winner in 2017 in the Bernese Oberland, then dominated for two years by the Austrian king Marcel Hirscher and reduced last year by gastroenteritis, he has in total relegated the Croatian Filip Zubcic to 1 sec 04 and the Swiss prodigy Marco Odermatt at 1 sec 11.

“Pintu” thus consolidates his first place in the general classification, with 60 points ahead of the Norwegian defending champion Aleksander Aamodt Kilde, who nevertheless had an excellent fourth place given his preference for speed.

"The difference was made especially in the first round", summed up the Frenchman, happy to find "ice", so a good grip, "on a magnificent track, magnificently prepared".
