Under the new rules, the World Table Tennis Professional League (hereinafter referred to as WTT) Grand Slam tournament will be included in the ranks of the top tournament points, and it will be the top three tournaments in the world ranking "Pyramid" alongside the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships and the Olympic Games. The winners of the three events will receive 2000 ranking points.

  In addition, the new world ranking structure also considers the career path of athletes from youth to adult events, and provides table tennis world ranking points for players participating in the WTT youth series U19 age group.

This rule will be implemented in 2021, and will change from the ITTF World Ranking to the Table Tennis World Ranking.
