  "Slam Dunk" was serialized in manga magazines from 1990 to 1996. Now 25 years have passed since its completion. The animation was broadcast on TV Asahi from October 1993 to March 1996.

According to statistics, since the serialization in 1990, the circulation of "Slam Dunk" in Japan has exceeded 120 million.

  Afterwards, it was revealed that the production of "Slam Dunk" was handed over to Japanese animation company Toei Animation, which is currently under preparation and the release time is undetermined.
