Andreas Michalsen is the chief physician of naturopathy in Berlin, and he is also the holder of the endowed professorship for clinical naturopathy at the Charité University Medicine.

The 59-year-old looks after around 1,500 fasters every year, has been accompanying developments in research for years and is the author of several books on the subject.

I always emphasize that you can sin from time to time.

In my opinion, we can deal better with our inner weaker self if we leave a little back door open.

A few freedoms help, especially at the beginning of a change.

If I follow German eating habits, then I would very much like to ban sausage.

Sausage has to go.
