The procedures required to register a player according to the player registration application form in the registration and registration section of the Football Association, include a registration form for the player, a copy of the player’s valid ID, a personal photo, an approved medical fitness certificate and a copy of the player's contract with the club.

For his part, a member of the Players' Status and Transfer Committee, the official spokesperson, Counselor Yaqoub Al-Ali, confirmed that the winter transfer period for players is a lifeline for clubs as it is the club's last chance during the season to register a player in its ranks, with the exception of exceptional cases related to the registration of another player in the event of an injury to a player in the team that extends his injury For a period of six months.

Al-Ali pointed out that the steps for registering and registering players consist in providing the club concerned with the documents required for registration and registration of the player during the submission of the request, and these documents are examined by the registration and registration department of the Football Association to ensure their validity or not, and the registration request is accepted or rejected, indicating that In the event that the registration and registration request is approved, a player’s card is directly extracted through the online system for registering and registering players.

Al-Ali told «Emirates Today»: «All data related to the application for registration and registration of a player are entered through the electronic system of the Football Association in force by the International and Asian Football Associations.

He added: “The concerned club submits a copy of the player's contract and passport and all the required documents, and the Registration and Registration Department can accept or reject the request, and if there are incomplete documents, the club is addressed to complete them, and the Registration and Registration Department can also address the Players Status and Transfer Committee, with the exception of a construction registration request. A clear justification in this regard ».

Al-Ali continued: “In the event that the club concerned with the registration of the player delays in submitting a copy of an official document related to the player's registration, he is given an opportunity to complete it, and also if there is an illegal document related to the player, the club is obliged to amend it, so that the request is complete and meets the conditions required in this regard.” .

Yaqoub Al-Ali revealed that all the cards for the players and the administrative, technical and medical teams of the clubs are issued through the electronic system of the Football Association.

He stressed the importance of clubs urgently submitting their requests for registration and registration of players early, and not waiting until the last days of the closing and registration door, in order to avoid submitting incomplete data, and the club may have to wait until the grace period 21 days after closing the registration door.

Yaqoub Al-Ali pointed out that: “The disappearance of errors related to the registration and registration process of players is caused by, in addition to the precise steps taken by the registration and registration department in the Football Association, that the clubs have accumulated experience in this regard, as well as the education and workshops that are held for the clubs, Through it, the steps that must be taken during the process and registration of players and the application form for each club are explained, pointing out that there is great cooperation by clubs with the committee and with the Football Association in this regard, which contributed to this remarkable development in the process of registering and registering players .

Al-Ali revealed that there is continuous communication by clubs with the Registration and Registration Department of the Football Association to respond to the various inquiries that are received in this regard, pointing out that they work during the registration and registration period 24 hours a day and that the Players Status and Transfer Committee is also in a state of alert And according to the directives of the Football Association Board of Directors headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, to facilitate the registration and registration process.
