Japanese ace badminton player Kento Momota was found to be positive by the PCR test for the new coronavirus received at Narita Airport on an expedition to Thailand on the 3rd, according to an interview with the people concerned.



Momota was gathering at the National Training Center in Tokyo on the night of the 2nd with other national team players for the world tour that will resume in Thailand from the 12th.



In response to this, the Nippon Badminton Association has decided to cancel the dispatch of all athletes to Thailand.
