Frölunda player Elmer Söderblom has so far impressed in the Junior WC in Edmonton in Canada.

In the premiere, which Sweden won 7-1, against the Czech Republic, he stood for a real delicacy.

Tonight, Sweden plays the quarterfinals against Finland.

And to SVT Sport, Söderblom says that his role has developed the further into the tournament Sweden has gone.

- It has progressed for me, I think.

We have worked a lot with the attacking game in the attacking zone and I will only continue on that track, says Elmer Söderblom.

"Utilizing my size"

And it is above all in powerplay that Söderblom comes into its own.

- I try to use my size as much as possible and be as hard as I can for the goalkeeper.

And that's something he's successful at.

Söderblom, who weighs over 100 kilos and is 2.02 meters, says that he feels that the goalkeepers get a little frustrated with his size.

- Of course, they are not used to having such a big player in front of their face, so they probably get a little extra to do.

It's hard for them, I think.

"It's unique"

Do you think there is a lot of talk about your height and weight?

- Yes it is.

It is not often that Sweden has such an extremely large player, in terms of height and weight it is probably a bit unique.

Tonight at 9.30 pm, Sweden will play the quarterfinals against Finland.
