Series leader Villa quickly connected a grip in the top match against Sandviken at home in Lidköping.

Already after a quarter of an hour, Martin Andreasson and Christoffer Edlund had made sure to get a 2-0 lead.

The third came after just over half an hour through Joel Broberg, but then Sandviken quickly replicated.

1-3 by Hannes Edlund.

Before the halftime break, Christoffer Edlund extended Villa's lead to 4-1.

A result that shows which team is dominating the elite series right now.

Sandviken was a little too thin to be able to threaten.

- They are good at defending themselves.

They are heavy to face, said Sandviken's Linus Forslund.

Controlled Villa

It did not get much better for the guests in the beginning of the second half.

The game was even but Villa was much sharper when they arrived.

With 75 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as Christoffer Edlund flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.

His third goal of the evening was 5-1.

In the final stages of the match, SAIK managed to loosen up the Villa Defense a couple of times and Lucas Widman and Albin Arisniemi were able to look good in the numbers.
