You should not be able to win Swedish Championship gold, then extend and recruit new players and so in the blink of an eye you call the squad to a meeting where you are informed that they are closing down the elite operations, says SVT Sports expert Frida Östberg.
Frida Östberg believes that many players right now are very worried about their future.
- Above all, I think that it came as a big surprise for all players and leaders.
I can not imagine otherwise that many players are in shock and are worried about their careers, says Frida Östberg.
The question is what happens to the player squad now.
- There are big question marks.
Many teams are starting to get on with their troops.
The top players always find a new club, and it is likely that they will end up abroad in this situation.
But the question is what happens to the width, says Frida Östberg.
