Bujisim: The Arbitration Center will not consider Al Wasl's complaint before litigation is completed

Ali Bujisim: "There is an important problem, which is that the objection is not uniform, especially as it is applied in the league, while it is not found in the cup competition."

The head of the Emirates Center for Sports Arbitration, Ali Bujisim, confirmed that the center will not consider Al Wasl's complaint before the club has completed all stages of litigation, regarding its objection to the referees and video technology teams for the Bani Yas match in the quarter-finals of the President's Cup.

Bujisim told Emirates Today that Al Wasl did not submit a complaint to the center, explaining: “Al Wasl issued a press statement confirming that he is preparing a complaint, and on our side we do not decide on these matters, and there are legal bodies responsible for dealing with the Al Wasl complaint, and it is not possible. That we look at it until the club completes the litigation stages for any complaint, because we cannot consider any complaint related to the Football Association, without it passing through the Federation committees itself, as this is the law and cannot be broken.

The World Cup referee spoke about the existence of some matters that need to be amended with regard to the committee to object to the referees' decisions, indicating that the presence of members who are not specialized in the field of arbitration weakens the decisions of the committee, while he commented on the cancellation of 12 decisions, so far, since the beginning of the season through the objection committee , Saying: "There is an important problem, which is that the objection is not uniform, especially that it is applied in the league, while it is not in the cup competition, although there is a right for the cup participants to have the same opportunity as clubs in the league."

He added: “The decision of the objection committee is sometimes wrong because it is not competent, and there are no practicing referees or consultants who follow the latest developments in the field of arbitration, as in every period there are major changes and developments in the practice of arbitration, in addition to the considerations that the International Federation has put in Interpretation of the law ».

He continued, "The Cup competition has no objection, and there may be decisions that have wronged some clubs, and this is the nature of the game. We are in one country and we do not talk with the aim of criticizing, but we say that to review ourselves, and we see the best system and it is applied."

He pointed to the importance of the role of the objection committee, and that it is not against it.
