Shabab Al-Ahly played three matches in the league this month, during which it scored a tie with Al Dhafra without goals and lost against Fujairah by three goals to two, before it tied with Bani Yas without goals, while the last tie is the fourth game in a row that does not Shabab Al-Ahly won, after it had tied with Sharjah with a goal for each team on 30 November.

The Dubai Knights took a new step away from the competition for the league title, after the difference between it and the two leaders Sharjah and Al Jazira expanded to 11 points, as Shabab Al-Ahly occupies eighth place with 15 points, while the lead duo has 26 points in the balance of each team.

For his part, the coach of Al-Ahly Youth, Mahdi Ali, confirmed that the team presented a strong match against Bani Yas, explaining in a press conference that: “Al-Ahly youth was the best during the match, and I salute the players for their results and the fighting spirit in which they appeared, and the negative thing is only for us. We did not score, and I think that the brilliance of Bani Yas goalkeeper Fahd Al-Dhanhani was one of the main reasons for the end of the match in a draw, while we did not see any dangerous opportunity in favor of the opposing team.

He added: "Despite the many absences suffered by Al-Ahly youth, we played a good match and did not score, so we will work on the offensive side in the next stage, and I am happy with the fighting spirit of the players and the great desire to win."

Isayla: The way Shabab Al Ahly played was a surprise to us

Bani Yas coach, Romanian Daniel Isaila, said that the way the Shabab Al-Ahly team played in the two teams' match, the day before yesterday, was a surprise for him, pointing out that in the previous matches the team played in a different way of play, while he explained that the Dubai youth put great pressure on Bani Yes, what contributed to the payoff that the players showed.

He indicated in a press conference that the match was difficult, and he said: “We played against one of the best teams in the league, and we did not play well, while goalkeeper Fahd Al-Dhanhani saved us from some dangerous opportunities. As for the second half, I do not remember that there was an opportunity in favor of Al-Ahly youth while Bani Yas missed two chances to score ».

The Romanian coach confirmed that the performance of Yeni Yas players was normal, indicating that the team played three strong matches in a short period against Sharjah, Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahly.
