Messi, who was absent from training this Sunday, left for his homeland last Tuesday (22) in a private plane from Valladolid, where FC Barcelona played their last game before the Christmas mini-pattern.

In this way, Messi will return to Barcelona for the match against Huesca, on Sunday, January 3 at 9:00 p.m., according to Argentine media.
The Barcelona captain is expected to return to Spain on the first day of 2021 to participate in the preparatory session for the clash against the Huesca.
However, FC Barcelona clarified during the afternoon that Messi would not extend his vacation, but is still pending to recover from ailments.
"The first team player Lionel Messi is completing the treatment of his right ankle. The player is expected to return to training after the FC Barcelona-SD Eibar game," indicated the club's medical services.
