Sirius has had a brave start to this year's elite series.

Despite a sometimes good game, the team was in 12th place with only two victories before today's match.

Hammarby, on the other hand, has lost Robin Sundin, David Pizzoni and Russian striker Alexander Egorychev due to injuries, Egorychev who has even traveled back to Russia and will not return.

The family is…

Sirius started the goal shooting through Ted Bergström, last year in Hammarby, who cut a penalty to the right of Filip Mörkdal after seven minutes.

Just a minute later, Ted Haraldsson increased to 2-0 after a quick attack.

Shortly afterwards, it was almost time again when Sirius Kalle Mårtensson was able to put 3-0 to the home team.

Hammarby leveled

After Sirius' strong start, Hammarby leveled the game.

The closest reduction was Daniel Mossberg who dribbled his way to a great position but missed the shot completely.

But it was Sirius who created the most and the best.

Therefore, it was not entirely logical when Hammarby a little randomly reduced to 1-2 through Ivan Lebedev.

In the 39th minute, David Thorén, also in Bajen last season, increased to 3-1.

Sirius was very close to 4-1 before the break when Teemu Määttä came completely free with Mörkdal who made a huge save.

Dream goal

The second half began with a much more energetic Hammarby where Daniel Mossberg scored a dream goal after a dribbling trip through the Sirius defense.

After a period of positional war, Sirius loosened Hammarby's defense in a fine attack that ended 4-2 through Jerker Ortman.

Hammarby got a chance to level the score as Christoffer Fagerström suddenly found himself free with only the 'keeper to beat, but the finishing shot hit the bar.

Three minutes later it was instead Sirius Teemu Määttä who could make it 5-2 on a pass from Nils Bergström.

At the very end, Kasper Milerud painted consolation.

Sirius took two fair points and the team could have decided the match already in the first half.
