A massive brawl with the participation of famous Russian mixed martial arts fighters Magomed Ismailov and Vladimir Mineev took place on Thursday evening during the final AMC Fight Nights: Winter Cup promotion tournament in the outgoing year at the Moscow Basket Hall.

After the fight between Nurullo Aliyev and Alexander Grebnev, both athletes unexpectedly entered the octagon.

Mineev invited his colleague to answer the question when the revenge will take place between them, and accused him of cowardice. 

In response, Ismailov asked: “Do you want to fight?

Are you interested in this fight? "

and made a false attack towards the former opponent.

He hit Magomed with a microphone.

After that, the native of Nizhny Tagil literally pounced on the offender.

A number of unknown men immediately jumped into the octagon and began to beat Mineev.

In particular, Vladimir was kicked several times. 

The host of the event, into the microphone, called on everyone to calm down and "not to disgrace Moscow and the promotion."

It was possible to clear the "cage" from outsiders only thanks to the intervention of law enforcement officers. 

According to media reports, Mineev and Ismailov were taken to the police for interrogation immediately after the fight and later released from the police station.

A TASS source in law enforcement agencies said that Magomed faces administrative liability under Article 20.1 of the Administrative Code (“Petty hooliganism”).

The organizers of the evening said that the fighters refused medical assistance, although the Bald Predator received minor damage to his nose during the scuffle.

Meanwhile, the president of AMC Fight Nights Global Kamil Hajiyev admitted that he himself unwittingly became a participant in the fight.

According to him, the first to run out into the cage were the separating ones, but then the man who “was next to Ismailov” suddenly attacked him and “the mess began”. 

In turn, the brother and trainer of Magomed Ramazan noted that Mineev was wrong in this situation, who struck with a microphone. 

“I know that Magomed jokingly showed the passage to his feet.

And Mineev hit him with a microphone.

And the coach of Vladimir Rasul Magomedaliev condemned the behavior of strangers who penetrated into the octagon, who, according to him, attacked his ward from different sides "like jackals."

Finally, the Match TV channel, which broadcast the evening of the promotion's battles, stressed that only sports events are welcomed, but not “fights as a result of a quarrel”.   

Possible cancellation of the fight with Shlemenko and the long-awaited revenge with Mineev 

Once again Mineev tried to challenge Ismailov to a fight just the other day.

In an interview, he accused the former rival of cowardice.

“Magician, what's going on?

When?

When will we fight?

I tell you: Magi, in my opinion, already has the guts to fight with me ”, - quotes Mineev's words on the Sport24 YouTube channel.

At the same time, the 34-year-old native of Nizhny Tagil, who only recently defeated Ivan Shtyrkov, seemed determined to meet with another famous Russian middleweight Alexander Shlemenko.

The storm called Ismailov to a duel immediately after his fight with Shtyrkov. 

“Who else will Magomed fight in Russia?

Maybe a revenge with Mineev, but will Ismailov want?

I think it would be more interesting for him to meet me.

In response, Magomed urged the public to determine with whom he would fight the next fight, Mineev or Shlemenko.

However, the brother and trainer of the fighter Ramazan unequivocally hinted that 97-99% of viewers want to see exactly the meeting with Alexander.

For example, I would like him to make revenge with Mineev.

But since the viewer wants a fight with Shlemenko, then there will be a fight with Shlemenko.

Shlemenko is a very worthy and strong opponent.

It seemed that after such words, Ismailov's team finally decided on the next rival, but a scuffle on the eve of the New Year could change its plans.

At the same time, the revenge with Mineev arouses no less interest among the fans.

The first fight between opponents took place back in November 2018 and ended in a draw.  

Since then, both have only increased their own winning streaks.

Mineev turned out to be stronger than Milos Kostić, Diego Diaz, Artur Pronin and Dauren Ermenkov, and Ismailov - Vyacheslav Vasilevsky, Artem Frolov, Alexander Emelianenko and Shtyrkov.  

It is curious that after the victory over Ermenkov, which allowed him to win the AMC Fight Nights Global championship belt, Vladimir immediately challenged Magomed to a fight, joking that his head "looks like a spacesuit."

In response, Ismailov said that Mineev still had to deserve revenge.

In turn, Hajiyev explained that such a fight will be possible as soon as the Bald Predator fulfills all his obligations to another ACA promotion - he will hold the last duel prescribed by the contract. 

Subsequently, the fighters continued to exchange "pleasantries" in the media and social networks.

For example, they accused each other of doping.

In October Mineev admitted that he disliked his rival. 

“Everything is so intertwined here ... If we were not tied to each other by this confrontation, then we would not meet, not communicate.

Maybe there would be no dislike.

Here one follows from the other.

And Ismailov in December urged his opponent "not to behave like a hysterical woman" and admitted that he was not sure about the revenge in 2021.  

Fight and reconciliation of Yandiev and Kharitonov

This fight outside the octagon was not the first in the outgoing year in the world of Russian mixed martial arts.

In mid-November, Sergei Kharitonov and Adam Yandiev took part in a serious brawl right in the foyer of the Luzhniki Sports Palace.

The ex-UFC fighter, who is noticeably inferior in anthropometric data, managed to inflict serious injuries on his opponent. 

With an eye injury, concussion and a fractured nose, Kharitonov was forced to seek medical help.

He also filed a report with the police.

A criminal case was initiated against Yandiev under Article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Intentional infliction of minor harm to health."  

According to Sergei, the conflict was caused by a large monetary debt, which Yandiev allegedly did not want to return.

In turn, Adam accused his colleague of lying.

Despite the fact that the Bellator fighter has repeatedly emphasized that he is not going to reconcile with the offender, this is exactly what happened in the end.

Yandiev apologized to him, and Kharitonov accepted them. 

“The quality of the strong is to admit their mistakes.

I don’t want young people to do this in our example.

I want our country to be proud, and we should be an example.
