Regarding the refund of watching tickets due to the postponement of the Tokyo Paralympics, the Games Organizing Committee has revealed that there were applications for about 200,000 tickets, which is 21% of the sales.

The refund procedure for the Tokyo Paralympic Games tickets was accepted from the 1st to the 21st of this month for those who could not watch the games due to the postponement.

The tournament organizer announced the results on the 23rd, and out of the approximately 970,000 already sold, approximately 200,000 were requested for refund, at a rate of 21%.

Refunds will be made sequentially from the middle of next month.

In the ticket refund procedure for the Tokyo Olympics that was carried out earlier, 18% of the total applied, and the Organizing Committee said, "Similar to the Olympics, we asked them to keep about 80% of the tickets, and there are so many. We recognize that people are looking forward to the Games. We will make steady preparations for a safe and secure Games so that we can live up to our expectations. "

In addition, the Organizing Committee will consider selling refunded tickets based on the maximum number of spectators that will be decided by next spring.
