How does it work?


The World Cup consists of three parts: Group play, main round and then final game.


The top three teams in each group advance to the main round and then the top two teams from each group advance to the final round where finals await all the way to the final.

How do you get from group play to the main round?


The top three teams from each group advance to the main round.



Three teams from group A and group B go to a main round - played in New Capital Sports Hall, Cairo.


Three teams from group C and group D go to a main round - played in Cairo Stadium, Cairo.


Three teams from group E and group F go to a main round - played in the 6th of October Sports Hall, Giza.


Three teams from

group G

and group H go to a main round - played in Cairo Stadium, Cairo.

How to get to the final game?


From the main round, the two best teams in each group make it to the finals.


The final game will be decided on 27-31 January and the final will be played in Cairo Stadium on Sunday 31 January at 5.30 pm.
