Ronaldo equaled a record that stood for 60 years

Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo equaled a record that remained steadfast for nearly 60 years after he scored two goals with which he led his team, Juventus, to beat Parma 4-0 yesterday, Saturday evening, in the thirteenth round of the Italian Football League.

Juventus took the lead with a goal scored by Dejan Kulusevski in the 23rd minute, and Ronaldo added the second and third goals in the 26th and 48th minutes, before Alvaro Morta scored the fourth goal in the 85th minute.

Juventus raised its score to 27 points in third place, and Parma's balance stopped at 12 points in the fifteenth place.

The official account of Juventus on the "Twitter" social network stated that Ronaldo equaled the record set by Argentine Omar Sivori in 1961 and became the first player to score 33 goals in the Italian league over a whole year.

Ronaldo is top scorer in the Italian league with 12 goals, two ahead of Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
