Al-Ahly of Egypt announces that 3 players have been infected with the Corona virus

Today, Sunday, the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club announced that three players have been infected with the new Corona virus.

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly of Egypt, said in statements to the official website of his club today, Sunday, that the medical swab that the team underwent yesterday, Saturday, proved positive for the sample of Rami Rabia, Amr Al-Soliya and Mohamed Magdy Afsha.

He added that immediately the trio underwent isolation and the medical protocol followed by the Egyptian Ministry of Health.

Abdel Hafeez confirmed the trio’s absence from the team’s trip to Niger later today, in preparation for the Sonideb match in the first leg of the 32nd CAF Champions League.

And he continued: "Also absent from the travel is the South African artistic director, Pitso Musimane, whose swab yesterday showed that he was still positive for the Coronavirus."
